Recycling Drop Off Center - The Borough is now home to a Cambria County Solid Waste Authority sponsored Recycling Drop Off Center, located on Flag Street behind the Municipal Building. There are bins for regular newspapers; clear food and drink container glass; metal food and drink containers; and certain #1 and #2 household plastics. Patton Area Chamber of Commerce - The Chamber is responsible for many community projects including the annual Patton Arts & Crafts Festival held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The chamber also holds the yearly Great Patton Yard Sale, which is held annually on the first Saturday in June. The chamber with several other community organizations coordinates the annual Patton Easter Egg Hunt.

Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Patton Senior Center on Park Ave.

Patton Senior Center - Our local Senior Activity Center has given many of our citizens a place to share hours with friends and take part in crafts and projects. Our many senior citizens have produced many beautiful quilts and handmade crafts. Our center can be contacted at (814)674-5820.

Public Library - Patton Public Library is located at 404 Magee Avenue which is between the Patton V.F.W. and Patton Fire Hall. We are a member of the Cambria County Library System which allows us to use the access PA system of interlibrary loan for books, video tapes, and magazine articles. If at anytime you need a specific book, author or subject please ask us to get it for you. We do not charge for this service. We also have a copier for public copying and have public internet access. Patton Park - Patton Park that is located at the edge of town and provides unlimited activities for the public throughout the summer months. It offers a unique mini-train, which is a sure pleasure to young and old alike. Pavilion rentals, swimming, tennis courts, a basketball court, and horseshoe pitching are some of the attractions that make for a perfect summer outing. Patton Area Veterans Memorial is located on the grounds of the Patton Park. The Patton Area Veteran's Memorial is in its final phases of construction. The committee's dream was to have a monument dedicated to past, present and future generations of local service men and women. Current committee members are Ken Bailey, George Gens, Ab Haluska, Joe Novak and Thomas Stoy. The Patton Garden Club plants and maintains the corner lot at Fourth and Magee Avenues in Patton. Other projects are planting year around flowers along the streets and a wildflower plot along Marina Road. Activities of the club include flower arranging, touring gardens, making natural and evergreen wreaths for Christmas sales. Meetings are held the fourth Monday of every month except January and February.

Patton Music Club - holds monthly meetings on the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Patton Senior Citizens Center. Some monthly programs feature live musical performances. For more information contact President Ruth Semonich at (814) 674-3639.

Patton Fire Ladies Auxiliary - holds monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. The organization performs support services for the local volunteer fire department. For more information contact President Ethel Popson (814) 674-5211.

Prince Gallitzin State Park - is another pleasurable attraction situated within five miles of the Borough. It provides a group campground along with a family campground area. Cabins can also be rented year round. Fishing, hunting, boating marina areas, beach area are just some of the parks features. Brickwood Estates is located on the site of the former Patton Clay Work. It features a newly paved, curbed and gutter roadway, and many level lots available for building. The Estates are located near the Patton Shopping Plaza which is home to the Patton IGA, Patton Pharmacy and V&S Variety, Dollar General Store, Patton Medical Center, Penn Care Physical Therapy and CG Bank.
